Employement Opportunities Florida Industrial Scale Company is expanding again and seeking qualified scale, weighing field service technicians, inside & outside sales persons, service management and service coordinators. Apprentice positions available. Positions open in various North and Central Florida locations. Positions Available Field Service Technicians We are looking to fill positions for the Jacksonville, Tampa/St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Ocala, and Lakeland areas. Our field service technicians are responsible for all facets of scale calibration, installation, integration and repair. They must be well rounded and have both mechanical and electronic service capability. A clean driving record is mandatory. A Class B CDL driver’s license will be required but is not a requirement for initial acceptance of the job. The successful applicant will need an outgoing and friendly personality with sufficient selling skills to promote the growth of his assigned territory. The customer is our highest priority and the members of the FISC group must be capable of delivering quality service that will get the customer back in business with the least amount of downtime possible. Our bonus and incentive programs will enhance the motivated technician’s income and make this a very attractive position. Apprentice Positions are available in the Tampa and Jacksonville areas for those individuals who bring a strong background in mechanical and electrical aptitude, but do not bring scale or instrument repair knowledge with them. We offer a high quality intensive training program to advance the apprentice to a well rounded scale technician. Outside Sales Representatives or Territory Manager Must have a successful background in industrial sales and be able to work on their own with the support of an inside staff. Knowledge of computer and PLC interface will add greatly to the success of the individual. A desire to learn new products and applications are a must. The outside sales representative position requires interface with customers and prospective customers to suggest and demonstrate new applications involving weighing and data collection. The representative will also be required to work with customers who need to upgrade older equipment and improve the speed and accuracy of their plant operations. As a territory manager the individual will be required to work with accounts troubled by lack of parts for older equipment, other service problems and poor credit customers. This position is an excellent opportunity for an industrious person to build the territory and personal income. Service Manager This Service Manager will be in charge of profit and loss of all service operations. The successful applicant must have demonstrated leadership qualities, the ability to handle difficult customers and sound business judgment in previous positions. Higher education is not required but is preferred. The service manager must motivate the technicians and service coordinators working with him. He must also be capable of assisting the technician with the calibration and repair of equipment in the field. New customer solicitation and retention of existing customers are responsibilities of the position. The service manager is also responsible for the direction and policy of the service department. Requirements are high school diploma or better, electrical
knowledge, mechanical skills and a clean driving record. A Class B or better CDL
is a plus for technicians, apprentices and service management. The ability to
