Weigh-bars

Railroad Scales

bulletWeigh-Tronix offers a unique approach to static or in motion track weighing with the "Weighline" rail scale. Standard static configuration uses groups of 5’10" long sections of rail fitted with strain gauges that fit into the existing rail. They become a convenient, accurate rail car weighing system that installs in hours rather than weeks.
bulletFor full draft weighing of rail cars we offer the "Railweight" system. This is a modular, low profile railroad track scale designed for above ground installation. The pit-less design complies with AREA Cooper E 80 Loading and NIST H44 requirements for commercial weighing.
