A Scale Calibration electronically adjusts for normal wear and use as a scale is used. It is normal and acceptable for scales to slowly loose their calibrations and require adjustment throughout the life cycle of the device depending on the frequency with which it is used
If a scale cannot be returned to acceptable tolerances through regular electronic or mechanical calibration, replacement of key components may be required to bring the scale to legally or quality documentation defined levels of accuracy and precision.
Due to the large number of scale manufacturers and equipment on the market, a professional evaluation by our factory trained technicians is advised before proceeding with repairs or calibrations. This has saved our customers from spending more on a repair than the cost of replacement!
